Teaching alone does not move a region forward. A lab that produces original work does. BSL Research exists so that Gilgit-Baltistan is not only a consumer of technology built elsewhere, but a place where it is investigated, tested and made.
Our researchers work on problems with a local stake — glacier data, low-resource language tools, diagnostic imaging — alongside contract R&D for partners who need a question answered before they commit engineering budget to it.
